Count your many blessings

This is one of my favorite songs and its true I always count my blessing whenever I feel down, I never crib if things don’t happen my way. It’s a beautiful song that shows us that we are really blessed when we start to count our blessings, everything our family our job our food our clothes we wear, our friends our health is a blessing from god the list goes on we will be amazed at all the things we take for granted is truly a blessing from god.

Prayer with childlike faith

I always tell my son to pray and before his bedtime prayers he was once praying to god asking god to heal me from cold and then once he finished his prayer he asked me Mummy your cold is gone isnt it i asked god to heal you, and he believes that god would have answered the prayer immediatly, whereas we do pray but most of the times our faith is not so strong.
The other day he said he has asked Jesus to come home and he wanted to know why he has not come yet.
I told him keep asking god one day you will see him
God loves little children they are not complex like us they just beleive god and trust that their little prayers are all answered.

I am always thankful to god for Good health, and we need to pray for all those who are suffering from any sickness, Especially the ones we meet our friends our relatives and Our God is Jehovah Roopeh Healing god, God can heal any disease and we need his healing touch in our lives.

Are we leading a life that is pleasing GOD

We all try to lead a good christian lives but are we really sure that the life we are leading is a life that pleases god, Its actually not complicated as many may make us feel, to lead a pleasing life first and foremost is to understand whether we are in the plan of God, that is are we doing the will of GOD, what i understand from the life that Jesus lead is that he looked on to God for directions he was always doing gods will, once we are into understanding gods will and we ensure we walk with him There is no way that anything can go wrong with our lives

My need in the coming year

I am now praying to god to recieve a blessing in my life, I need a good job, Gods love for us is so great, he loves to give us our hearts desire, I know we can ask anything in his name and we shall recieve, and there is power in his name.

Healing Prayer

Healing Prayer

I was suffering from a skin problem and my skin breaks open and some liquid will ooze out, I was worried and i took all kinds of treatment, but nothing worked, one day i just prayed for healing, i told god i am worried and i need to see it heal.
And god answered yet another prayer it just vanished.

Thank god.

Answered Prayer

This morning I was thinking that this year has been a year of many answered prayer.
I was able to break free from a life of bondage
I was able to pursue higher education
I was able to enroll my son in a good school
And God even provided me with a good new car
Material things dont matter, but we need to count our blessing one by one and thank god for all that he has done.
Above all his peace has not left my home
All thanks to god

Daily Prayer
Is daily prayer a priority in your life, the bible talks about Jesus praying at all times, in all circumstances, early in the morning we read about him finding a solitary place to pray all by himself,i really think that the most important thing is to seek God early in the morning the bible asks us to seek him early in the morning and he will be found and also about his grace that is new every morning, we need that grace that god gives us everymorning, that grace will help us through the day, and its my experince that in the quietness of the early morning hours is the best hour of communication with god, and its a great way to start the day with gods blessing

Prayer is one of the most important part of a persons life, Prayer is an act of communicating with our creator, Its so easy to talk to God, he is so very near to hear us call on him, he loves to have fellowship with us, he wants to have that closer relationship with us, He knows everything about us, nothing is hidden from him, we need to pray more than we eat or drink prayer should be the essence of every persons life, then that life is a blessed one

We can learn to pray through Jesus Christ, who not only teaches us to pray, but prayed himself. The Gospels are filled with examples of his prayer.

From his earliest years, Jesus prayed to God at all times, God was his Father and he was God's son. There was a childlike, filial quality to his prayer.

Jesus prayed regularly, he prayed for everything, he prayed before taking any decisions, he always seeked gods will, he prayed when he was baptized, he prayed when he turned the water to wine, he prayed at the grave of Lazarus, he frequently prayed to give thanks,he prayed before he was nailed to the cross, his first disciples recalled. He prayed before decisive moments, beginning with his baptism and as he faced his passion and death. He prayed in times of human weakness and death, as he did at the grave of Lazarus. He frequently prayed to give thanks.
His prayer was heartfelt. Nowhere is that more evident than when he prayed on the cross.

They were prayers that came from the heart. They reveal him tender towards those he loved and forgiving to those who wronged him; he is human in weakness and strong in faith. Never did a human heart reach out to God more eloquently than when Jesus prayed on the cross.

First, that true prayer should come from the heart. He prayed from within, not with just words or gestures. His prayer was not based only on feelings or passing emotions. Prayer comes from within, beyond level of feelings, from ourselves. " Go into the inner room, " Jesus says, " and there pray to your Father, who hears you." Sometimes prayer from the heart, from the "inner room" takes the form of words, at other times it may be like his own wordless cry.

Secondly, prayer is fed by faith. Jesus prayed with an unwavering faith in his heavenly Father, a faith that lasted till his death. He taught us to pray also with childlike faith in God, believing that our prayers are heard by One who loves us.

Thirdly, prayer should be steady and persevering as his prayer was, even when no answer comes or when no relief is in sight. "Watch and Pray," he says, "Seek and knock," till the door that reveals God's holy will be opened.

His disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray. He did, and he teaches us too. Yet Jesus is more than a teacher. As Christians we believe that Jesus prays for us; he is our intercessor before God. As Savior he gathers our prayers, our needs, the cries of our hearts to make them his own and offers them to God who hears our prayers in the prayer of his Son.

That is why we complete our prayers so often with the beautiful phrase: "Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen." Jesus is our teacher and he is our Savior, who takes our prayers and makes them his own.

Do you believe in praying for everything, Do you share that personal realtionship mwith God, where you are in constant touch with him, I do even for very small things, am not talking about material things, but everything that happens in our life I always go to God, Its really important that we know Gods will in everything we do, Its also important that we spend some time praising him and thanking him, for the blessings and sometimes we tend to take it for granted but its actually an answered prayer, its the hand of god, We need to spend more time in prayer, to live a peaceful, healthy and blessed life, for us to pray effectively we neeed to know the principals of god, for that we need to spend time in meditating upon his word, not just read the bible, there are lots of promises we can claim, there are lots of formulas we need to know, all this will help us when we are in the presence of the most high god

Prayer is the most important part of our daily life. We need to incorporate prayer in our daily lives,Many of us don't spend that valuable few minutes in the presence of God before we start our day. Prayer is communicating with our creator, we can just offer praises or just worship him, or share all our thoughts with him. Prayer can be done individually or in a group with fellow believer's Ultimately prayer is a relationship between the created and the creator. but the most important of all is the early morning prayer, we need above all Gods blessings in the beginning of a new day, his grace his presence to see us through the day, so we need to seek him early in the morning, than learn to commit the day in his hands.Prayer can be incorporated into a daily "thought life", in which one is in constant communication with God. Some people pray throughout all that is happening during the day and seek guidance as the day progresses. There can be many different answers to prayer, just as there are many ways to "hear" the answers. Some may be audible, others may interpret healing, or specific physicals signs as answers to their prayer. How the answer is given and in what time frame it is given can be as varied as the requests themselves.
